Zumbach Electronic AG recently showcased its cutting-edge measuring and control solutions at the 6th Cable & Wire Fair 2025, held from 4th – 6th November at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, India. Occupying a total area of 35,000 sqm, Cable & Wire Fair is India’s largest international expo for the wire and cable industry, and welcomed over 16,000 visitors over the 3 day duration. The expo featured 89 foreign exhibitors from 24 countries including Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherland, Norway, Spain, Sweden and of course Switzerland.
At our stand 4P1 in hall 4, we presented a range of advanced measuring and control systems including some new products that we have recently launched - all designed to enhance the efficiency and quality of wire and cable production. Visitors had the opportunity to explore:
- NEW RAYEX® S CORE – The RAYEX® S is our all-in-one multi-layer x-ray solution for measuring wall thickness, ovality, eccentricity and diameter, and can measure product sizes between 4 mm and 100 mm, with wall thickness testing from 0.3 mm. The new RAYEX® S CORE offers the best price performance ratio of all our x-ray measuring solutions, for measuring single layers only.
- NEW UMAC® CI Processor – The result of decades of ultrasonic measurement experience, our UMAC® ultrasonic measuring system for wall thickness and eccentricity, now features the new UMAC® CI processor. Amongst its many features, it offers high speed precision measuring (up to 1000Hz per channel), and advanced measuring algorithms for fast setup and seamless integration.
- Inline Measuring Solutions for Flat Products – Alongside the UMAC®, we also showcased the ODAC® laser measuring sensors with the DVW/DVO oscillating device for height and width measurement, the PROFILEMASTER® PMM 30/50/80 for non-contact measurement of dimensions and geometry, and the SPARKTESTER for high voltage insulation testing.
- CELLMASTER® – State-of-the-art solution for the measurement and control of wire and cable extrusion, ensuring tighter specification, consistent impedance/capacitance and overall better product quality. CELLMASTER® utilizes FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) protocol to perform precise spectrum frequency analysis to detect and correct periodic irregularities and predict early machine failure.
Cable & Wire Fair 2025 was not only a great platform to showcase our products and solutions, but also provided an excellent opportunity to connect with new potential customers.
