2025 marks the 40th anniversary of MD&M West, which is widely considered to be one of the most influential B2B advanced manufacturing technical medical exhibitions in the world. At this year’s show, held from February 4-6 at the Anaheim Convention Center, ZUMBACH Electronic had a presence in 5 locations, showcasing the largest selection of measurement products and solutions for medical tubing manufacturers that we have ever exhibited at one exhibition.
Our stand 2836 enabled exhibition participants to see our UMAC® WALLMASTER system which provides measurements of wall thicknesses around the circumference of hoses and tubes, as well as the GaugePro and BenchPro technologies for offline measurements of tubing diameters.
Additional to our own stand, one of our partners on stand 4320, exhibited a live line producing multi-lumen TPE medical taper tube that utilized the Zumbach UMAC® in conjunction with numerous SPV-1 servo pressure valves.
A full ID-ODWALL UMAC® WALLMASTER system was also running on another partner stand (4011) which also exhibited a RAYEX® S – an X-ray measuring device for measuring wall thickness, eccentricity, diameter and ovality of tubes and hoses – within an innovative vertical silicone extrusion line, which was the first of its type ever shown at MD&M West.
Another partner at stand 1601 showcased Zumbach Electronic products, displaying a Zumbach BenchPro outside diameter measuring system, and finally, a smaller OEM at stand 1373 displayed a line simulation also featuring Zumbach Electronic measurement products.
Zumbach’s very own Keith Donahue has been attending MD&M West for over 35 years and commented “For Zumbach it all began in 1989 when we started going to MD&M West at the Disneyland Hotel, and we have not missed an MD&M West ever since. It has become our signature annual event in the USA, and the loyal community is vibrant, energetic and very sociable, where old business friends and partners gather every year.”.
